Description

The Graduate Diploma in Theology intends to equip working professionals and Christian ministers with comprehensive knowledge and skills to be relevant and effective in Christian ministry. It helps the students to study and preach from the scripture. It also would help the student to understand the nature basic of Christian leadership. In return, the students will be equipped to involve in ecclesial context.

This program is intended to transform the student in three different areas;

  • Academic Knowledge - Provide the student with requisite biblical knowledge and skills, equipping him/her to interpret and rightly expose the word.
  • Christ-like Character – Inculcate in him/her Christ-like character and encouraging him/her to display the same as a servant of God.
  • Ministerial Skills - Equip him/her with respective skills that are essential to pioneer, plant churches, pastor and nurture and believers as necessary.
  • Applicant must be born again, committed Christian.
  • Applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University or a Bachelor of Theology either from Asia Theological Association (ATA) or Senate of Serampore College (SSC).
  • Applicant must own a computer with a good configuration and a stable internet connection.

Graduate Diploma in Theology is offered in a modular system (one subject at a time). The course content is delivered through recorded lectures, live interactive sessions with course experts, and other study aids.

Graduate Diploma in Theology is a one-year program. Each module lasts for a duration of 6 weeks.

Graduate Diploma is worth 30 credits. It incorporates ten (10) subjects

1. Fill in the application online.
2. Download the form of acceptance by Mentor and upload it after filling it.
3. Download the form of acceptance by Ministry Supervisor and upload it after filling it.
4. Pay the Fees through Credit/Debit Card/online

Students must fulfill the requirements as per the demands of the academic council of the IPCTSK and ATA. Apart from the credit requirements, COTS gives prime importance to the character formation, spiritual development, and ministry commitment of the students. The character formation of a student is assessed with the help of a mentor. The spiritual development and the ministry commitment of a student are assessed through a ministry supervisor.
